How to Install Paving Stones

Here's a youtube video about how to put in paving stones yourself.  It shows one method to installing paving stones.  There are several different ways but they all involve the following methods:

1. Making sure the area is level
2. Digging out a several inch (6 inches to 8 inches) area for the foundation, gravel and sand usually.
3. Putting in the foundation.
4. Compacting.
5. Securing the stones from movement by either putting in restraining sides to keep them from moving or adding mortar underneath.
